...Volution Gallery... turns about the idea that everyone deserves art. We look for ways to connect people with art in a meaningful way -seeking out artists who produce unique and stimulating works and then finding ways to make those works accessible and affordable. One of the ways we do this is by making works available as open edition prints. Our prints are high quality giclees, (fine art prints) rendered in archival inks on archival paper, which means the colors and quality will endure.  We utilize an array of mounting and framing methods to create a finished, ready-to-hang piece that will accentuate varying decors and accommodate any budget. We hope we can help you find something that you love.

...Volution Gallery... is also the studio of owner and resident artist Z. E Pangborn. After spending over a decade selling his artwork all over the state, and even opening a small prototype of Volution Gallery in Sacramento, Zack decided to return to his native town of Placerville .

"It was important to me to come home for this. I believe the arts should be an integral part of a community, and everyone should have access to them. I don't think a gallery should be a sterile place reserved  for a certain socioeconomic set of people, or be an elite experience only available in a certain geographical location. I really wanted to have a kind of 'Main Street America', Mom & Pop style gallery in my hometown. My wife and son are with me in the gallery nearly every day, helping with the family art business. We share the street with other small, family run businesses, and it's nice to walk down the street and wave in the windows to other business owners behind their own counters and stocking their own shelves. It just feels nice. I like having a space that is welcoming and alive, and I love finding fresh images and pieces that invigorate and stimulate all sorts of folks."
